Accounts of this Easter's annual marshmallow drop held by the City of Oviedo are varying, and certainly polarizing, but video from the event (posted below) seems to show little to no risk to the children in attendance, who seemed to wait patiently as adult coordinators.
Of course, this is just one video of one of the fields. Spectators gathered at different areas according to age and more than one drop occurred. One person that got video of the alleged "marshmallow blob" did not allow the news to air his footage.
